Welcome to Region 130

Hello Region 130 Players, Parents and Volunteers,

We have been hit by communication problems with the City of San Bernardino yet again with regard to our field availability.  Games and picture day for tomorrow are being cancelled at this point due to late notice given to us that we do not have field space available tomorrow morning.
The problem up to this point has been very poor communication from City of San Bernardino Staff members regarding our space availability at the complex.  They are responsible for management of the facility through this Sunday only however, and new management takes over on Monday, November 16th.  The firm taking over management of the Soccer Complex is the same firm that is currently managing the 66'ers baseball park in downtown San Bernardino.
Our staff have a meeting scheduled with the new complex management firm this coming Monday morning.  At that point, we will nail down exactly what dates and options are available to us to finish our season.  Initial conversations with the new complex staff have been very promising, and the new firm has been helpful in trying to address our situation.
Region 130 staff fully realize that this is a difficult and highly inconvenient situation for all of our players, parents, families and volunteers.  We are working on making this situation work out for everyone as best we can.  We would welcome your questions, comments, suggestions or complaints by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We really would like to hear what issues this has caused for you, so that we can do our best to address the situation, and also forward this information to our City leadership so they can see what our soccer program been going through because of these issues.
We will have another, detailed e-mail out on late Monday night detailing how we are going forward with the remainder of the Fall season.
Practices at this point will continue as before.  The new management firm is already working on addressing the lights issue.
For what they are worth, please accept our apologies for these continued problems, and know that we are working diligently on trying to resolve these issues promptly.
