2009 AYSO Soccer Camp is Coming!AYSO Soccer Camps are coming to San Bernardino AYSO Region 130. AYSO Community Day Camps create an environment that is fun and conducive to learning for all ages and levels of ability, and does it on the fields the kids already know and love. With solid grounding in AYSO’s philosophies and coaching programs, AYSO Soccer Camps work with kids on skills and activities appropriate to their age and skill level. AYSO Soccer Camps are conducted by the best nationally and internationally qualified coaches recruited and trained by UK International Soccer Camps. UK International is the only organization whose coaches, primarily from Great Britain, are AYSO Safe Haven Certified, and trained in AYSO philosophies. Coaches are selected not only for their knowledge and their coaching ability, but also for their commitment to creating a fun, positive learning environment for the players. The result is a soccer camp experience players will remember for a lifetime. The AYSO Soccer Camp curriculum has been developed by AYSO in conjunction with some of the highest-level camp trainers in the country, and is reviewed and approved by AYSO National Coach John Ouellette. All camp sessions are based on individual attention to ball skills, as well as fun games to put those skills into practice and develop teamwork. Players are encouraged to express themselves in order to develop confidence and individual creativity on the field. Our Region is hosting a camp from August 10 through August 14, 2009 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm each evening. Please see the folowing link for more information: http://www.uksocca.com/Thomas2009/WebFlyer.php?c=82003&f=8&t=0 In addition, we are looking for Hosts for the coaches coming to teach our camp. Region 130 Needs Your Help!We are in need of coaches, referees, and board members to help run our program.. AYSO is a volunteer based organization whose success depends on help from people like you! Training for all positions is available. We are in need of coaches for teams at all age levels. Experience is not required, as coaching clinics are available. Coaching is a great way to spend time with your kids, and allows you some control over the time and locations of your child's practices. Most of all, its just plain fun! If you are interested in coaching, please contact Jim Tuff for further information or to sign up and coach a team. We are always in need of Referees for our Region. As with coaching, no experience is necessary - free training is available. Refereeing is challenging but it is also great fun! In addition to free training, referees for our Region receive a free jersey, socks and other basic equipment, plus additional incentives throughout the season for their contributions to our kids. Those interested in becoming a referee should contact John Deming, our Regional Refere Administrator. If you want to make a difference and help our Region to improve and grow, we invite your help with our Regional Board by becoming a member of our staff. Please see our staff page on this site for a list of positions we need to fill. If you are interested in stepping up for one of these positions, please contact Tom Herrin, our Regional Commisioner. |
